I'm pretty sure I'm preaching to the converted when I suggest you get out for The Darcys' release show that's going down at the Horseshoe this Friday. With Arts & Crafts' latest talent getting all sorts of attention from every direction, it'd be a shock to hear that any of you have been online over the past week without hearing about this show. But what the hell, I'm going to go ahead and reiterate, on the off chance that one of our readers has just returned from Siberia or Mongolia or some other place where smartphone reception is spotty.

Simply put, The Darcys deserve your attention, and this show is a must-see. Supported by great acts like Amos the Transparent, the group is awfully excited to get out and showcase the latest album – an effort over which they slaved for a long three years. If you're wondering what came to fruition after all that time, just head to their website and you can grab the self-titled LP in digital form without ever opening your wallet.

Tickets for the show were originally for sale in advance as well as available as freebies inside copies of the band's vinyl, but rabid fans snatched them up in a hurry. Luckily though, there will be plenty available for you at the door, as long as you don't arrive fashionably late.
