When indie-rockers Fast Romantics traded the Rockies for the bright city lights of Toronto, they made a pledge to one day paint this town red.
February is the perfect opportunity for the five-piece to show their new digs some love, in the form of free shows and free music. The band’s playing three consecutive Saturdays at some of Toronto’s finest venues for what they’ve appropriately titled Fast Romantic February. The shows include:

Saturday, February 26th @ The Mod Club
"We'll know we did our job if everybody is out after the shows shagging in the streets. I think that's what St. Valentine really wanted. He's probably pissed off that all this silly flower shopping distracts from what really matters: indie-rock and post-show sex," says lead singer Matthew Angus.
Fans of the band, whose music has been featured in Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars, can register on their website to score either free tickets, free copies of their upcoming release Kidcutter, or both if you’re in the mood. It's the sort of deal that can even get Cupid all hot and bothered.
