The biggest event in music this week in Toronto is the Wavelength anniversary festival happening Wednesday through Sunday at various venues.

Most of the first four shows are — or will soon be — sold out of advance tickets (all of which sold for more than $10). But the final concert, Sunday night at The Garrison, is pay-what-you-can with all tickets being sold at the door. As a semi-regular Wavelength attendee over the past few years, you can bet I'll be there to see the bands and, well, just to be there as the series ends its regular Sunday-night run after 10 long, wonderful years. Promises to be packed, tons o' fun, and nostalgia-filled.
Other Good Bets
On Tuesday, 16 February, Basia Bulat will grace Little Italy record store Soundscapes with her presence. The free performance — to celebrate the January release of her second album, Heart Of My Own — begins at 7pm, but you best get there a bit early to secure your spot.
Woodpigeon will be doing the same thing on Sunday, February 14, at 5:00pm.
