The Balconies put on an amazing set, fronted by Jacquie Neville (vocals, guitar) who was once again showing off her guitar skills and charisma — keep your eyes open for this band. Gentlemen Reg filled the space between songs with witty banter, and over the course of the night I took some notes intending to publish bits of what he said. Then, during the encore, he talked about how some of his wit from the previous week had been reproduced on the internet, saying "Banter shouldn't be printed on the Internet". Uh oh, what have I done? (My apologies, Reg, but I couldn't resist.)
