There are some nights when you need to blow off a little steam. Honestly, just a little steam was my plan when I took all-around-interesting-person-and-great-photographer, Ronnie Fung, up on his offer to see his new band Motor Goat at The Silver Dollar. One reason is that Motor Goat is an hilarious band name, but more importantly, I get a huge kick out of being connected with Ronnie Fung on Facebook and Instagram. So why not? No, I'd never heard a Motor Goat recording and didn't even know what kind of music it was, but I did know it was Ronnie.

This year illScarlett invited John Doherty's new band Trouble and Daughter to open the night, with alumni Cardinal Chase up next, and KO playing in direct support.
