Following nearly two years spent blanketing Europe and the United States on their Doolittle World Tour, Pixies will finally be taking the show to the snowy North.
In the fall of 2009, to mark the twentieth anniversary of their classic work, Doolittle, Pixies reunited and set out on an expansive tour to bring the album live in its entirety to practically any country that would let the band inside their borders.
On Thursday, it was announced that the group will be making their way to Canada in mid-spring, with a single show scheduled in Toronto on April 18th at Massey Hall.
After a brief pre-sale on the band's website that you've probably already missed, tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 28th through the regular channels. It goes without saying that this rare chance will have fans scrambling for seats at 10am sharp, so you'd be wise not to take the scenic route on the way to your favourite vendor.
If you can't make it to Massey Hall, don't worry, because Pixies will be making a whopping thirteen Canadian appearances before they wrap up their largest visit to date.
Update: Due to some unforeseen but unsurprising server issues, the presale has been postponed until 1pm EST on January 21st. All hope isn't lost!
