The fine folks at Arts & Crafts have welcomed Vancouver based singer-songwriter Dan Mangan to their illustrious indie rock family.
Having received national praise for his 2009 sophomore release, Nice, Nice, Very Nice, Mangan has built a loyal fanbase and charmed critics across the country with his sincere approach to songwriting and distinctive raspy vocals. Now, Mangan is ready to take on the U.S. as Arts & Crafts are set to release Nice, Nice, Very Nice to American audiences on August 10, 2010.
Mangan has been a glowing fixture in both the Canadian and international music scenes having showcased at CMW, NXNE, SXSW, The Great Escape (UK), and Big Sound (AUS) to name a few. In 2009, Mangan received the 'Best New Artist' award from XM Satellite Radio's Verge Music Awards, garnering him a well-deserved $25,000 prize.
