Piggy banks everywhere breathe a sigh of relief as Amos The Transparent makes Tuesdays worth waking up for.
Last week, the Ottawa-based indie group began marking eight consecutive Tuesdays with the release of eight live songs, all completely free for the taking. Today brings the second installment, and it's up for grabs on the band's website, amosthetransparent.com, alongside the first week's track, "It's a Beautiful Life."
Entitled Transparencies, the live collection was recorded during sessions with Southern Souls and The Verge, bridging the gap for fans while the group works on a new studio album.
If hearing Transparencies leaves you wanting the full live experience, you can check out Amos The Transparent when they take the stage at El Mocambo this Thursday as part of Canadian Music Fest 2011.
