You could win a Divine Fits CD and vinyl prize pack.
[CONTEST HAS ENDED]
Probably through some righteous handiwork, a session of mad science, or a twisted rock and roll key party, Britt Daniel (Spoon), Dan Boeckner (Handsome Furs, Wolf Parade) and Sam Brown (New Bomb Turks) have teamed up to throw a shiny new record onto the shelves.
The three fine gentlemen have come together as Divine Fits, choosing today as the release date of their almost self-titled A Thing Called Divine Fits - an effort that's just as great as you probably expect it to be. We won't bother saying too much about it, because this collaboration can sell itself without our meddling. Instead, we're going to just put it in your hands for free.
With love from the folks at Universal Music Canada, Sticky Magazine will be awarding the CD to five of our readers. Even better, two of those already lucky winners will also find themselves with a vinyl copy of the album, pried begrudgingly from our hands over here at Sticky headquarters.
You can enter up to three times, once for each entry method (repeating any single entry method does not increase your odds):
- Follow Sticky Magazine on Twitter and tweet the following message exactly as it appears below (do not retweet someone else's tweet):
WIN Divine Fits' new release on CD and vinyl. To enter, follow @StickyMagazine and tweet. See: http://bit.ly/OI4PrL
- Go to Sticky Magazine on Facebook and click the "Like" button (if you haven't already). Then add a comment to the photo of Divine Fits in the "Contests" photo album.
- Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with "I'm having Fits" in the subject. Include your full name in the body of the email.
Contest is open to Canadian residents only. The winners will be asked to provide a mailing address so that the prizes can be sent. Contest closes Friday, August 31 at 11:00pm and the winner will be notified by Twitter Direct Message, Facebook Message, or email within about 24 hours.
For an advanced taste of the album, head on over to their website below and take part in the listening party.
