Those who made it out to the Dakota Tavern on this chilly January evening were treated to an exciting sample of what is to come in 2011 from three distinctly different, yet immensely talented bands.
Virtually everyone looked under dressed at The Mod Club as both Mookie & The Loyalists and Fitz and the Tantrums showed up in their finest garb. Apparently when RSVPing to this dance party, we all missed the part about suiting-up... funnily enough though, everyone remembered to wear their dancing shoes.
The Horseshoe Tavern may have been a little more "pop" than usual this past Friday night, but sandwiched in between the lineup’s two musically more mainstream acts was an authentic reminder of just how deep rock’s roots are soiled.
